Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has heaped praised on Marcus Rashford after being awarded an MBE for his charity work in alleviating child poverty.
The Norwegian has encouraged the Englishman to continue his good work on and off the pitch going forward.
Speaking about Marcus Rashford after he was given the MBE for his fight to end child hunger in the UK, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Oh well, we are extremely proud once again that Marcus gets this recognition and I’m sure his family and Marcus must have enjoyed that.
“For me as his manager I know how great he is as a person and how much he cares for others. Extremely proud and just want him to carry on his good job on and off the pitch.”
Rashford is still keen on continuing his charity work despite his request for more free meals for children during the festive periods was rejected by British Prime Minister Borris Johnson.
