No other manager could have outperformed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United last season.
That is the view of former England midfielder Owen Hargreaves - who has backed the work of the Norwegian last season as he labels them as one of the best counter-attacking sides in Europe.
Solskjaer led his team to third place in the Premier League thanks to a fine run of form towards the end of the season - taking them back into the Champions League after missing out the previous year.
“I don’t think anyone else could’ve finished third with that group of players,” he told BT Sport .
“I think getting into the Champions league was a big achievement.
They’re probably the best counter-attacking team in Europe, arguably.
“When they play the top teams, PSG, Leipzig, as we saw, two Champions League semi-finalists, they blew them away.
That’s their style. On the counter-attack, defensive and hitting teams with these great attacking players.
“The problem is when they try and break teams down and have a lot of possession they struggle to do that.”
