Former Manchester United forward, Dimitar Berbatov, has given his two cents on the possible outcome of the match between the Red Devils and Newcastle United later on Saturday.
The two sides meet in the last game of the day, after the international break, and will be looking to pick up valuable points.
The Magpies haven’t always been an easy opposition for the Red Devils to beat, and Berbatov believes the encounter won’t be any different.
He said, “Huge game for United here, they really need to bounce back from the Spurs defeat here.
“Newcastle have been playing ok, and Callum Wilson is a great addition. It will be a tough game for United, I am biased because they are my old team, and I want them to win, for the team, and for Ole.
“If they are not concentrated here, they could be disappointed. I will go for them to bounce back though.”
The match is an important one for United, and a win is the least expected from them, as Solskjaer himself understands a draw or loss will further make his future with the club uncertain. But as Bruno Fernandes recently said, they will be looking to give a response after the shock 6-1 loss to Tottenham.
Berbatov’s prediction: 0-1 to United.
