The English Man, Carrik has confirmed his resignation ahead of Ralf Rangnick's forthcoming arrival as the name caretaker and Interim manager.
Following the decision to sack the Norwegian boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, The former Midfielder, Michael Carrick was appointed as the meantime manager.
Carrik took hold the Reds, giving them a victory in against the Spanish side, Villarreal in the Champoins League and a 1-1 against Chelsea.
Michael Carrick made his final time as a manager for Manchester United, taking charge of the match against Arsenal and securing a beautiful 3-2 win.
However, the English Professional have served Manchester United for 15 years now, both as a player and manager. He is truely a legend.
Speaking on the decision to leave the club immediately after their victorious night against Arsenal, he said,
“Yes, it’s not been an easy one to make, to be honest.
“I feel it’s the right one. I’m content with my decision, I feel quite happy.
“I think I have thrown myself into working here for so long that it just feels like it’s the right time to step away.” Carrick discloses.
Manchester United will now be missing such a legend, but he is still for The Reds all day.
