Well, it hasn’t taken long but the Red Devils are already being linked with a new manager. Man United to move for Mauricio Pochettino? Well, it feels pretty predictable, but it also would make sense
The story comes from The Mirror on Sunday. And before I start, it’s worth noting that this isn’ the first time ‘Poch’ has been rumoured with a move to the United dugout and I don’t doubt it’ll be the last.
Anyway, the story states that United are ‘eyeing’ the 48-year-old Argentine, labelling him the ‘most wanted man in Manchester’ with City also keen, too. More on that later.
It’s all down to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s struggles, losing two of United’s opening three Premier League fixtures. The Mirror on Sunday do stress that the Baby Faced Assassin will be given time to turn things around, though.
However, the Reds know that Pochettino will not be available forever. He has been on the market for the better part of a year, but after recharging the batteries, he’s ready for another stint in England.
