Manchester United midfielder, Scott McTominay, has revealed everyone in the dressing room was “very hurt” and vowed that “something will be done”, after losing 6-1 to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
The Red Devils took the lead through a Bruno Fernandes penalty in the first minutes of the game.
However, Spurs hit back at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men, scoring six times.
United are yet to win at Old Trafford this season and are 16th on the table heading into the international break.
“You get these shock results that come around, hopefully never again in your career,” McTominay told MUTV.
“Everybody in that dressing room I can assure you is very, very hurt.
“This football club is absolutely massive and for us to play and perform like that is nowhere near good enough. Believe me, something will be done about that when we get back.”
