Manchester United face up against Southampton during Sunday's early kick off in the Premier League.

The Red devils will be looking to keep their good form going having come back from a convincing win in the Champions League over Istanbul Basaksehir on Wednesday at Old Trafford.

That 4-1 meant that United remain top of group H and now need just three points to from either PSG or RB Leipzig to confirm qualification to the round of 16.

That being, the slow start to the Premier League is also turning for the better with the last two consecutive wins against Everton and West Brom respectively.

Southampton will be a different challenge though but we all know that United at their best can beat any side.

Solskjaer was today speaking in the pre-match conference when he went on to reply on January transfer interest from the club looking at how games are coming in thick and fast.

Solskjaer admitted that he is not that aware of the financial situation of other clubs whether they will be willing to sell and thus saying he is not seeing much activity.

He also added that for him he is happy with the players he got and that the squad is getting stronger.

"Hard to predict the financial situation of other teams.

Depends on injury situations — I am very happy with my squad, we are getting stronger," said Solskjaer.

However this has not settled down with United fans who still think there needs to be a few addition to the club.
