Manchester United supporters have complimented goalkeeper David de Gea for his brutally honest post-match interview after the team's defeat to Everton.

United went to Goodison Park hoping to rekindle their Champions League chances for next season, but they came away empty-handed after Anthony Gordon's first-half strike. 

 

United's poor performance added to an already depressing afternoon. The Spaniard was on media duty after the loss and called the outcome "disgraceful."

 

That is, Manchester United's dreadful run. We can now forget about the top four, which is why I believe Ralf Rangnick should dismiss a lot of these guys in the next weeks and give the youngsters a chance.

The game ended 1-0 at Goodison Park after Everton scored in the first half and United were unable to respond.

 

"We don't score, we don't create, that's the problem," he said. "We don't create proper chances to score. I don't know what to say, we are not good enough, that's for sure.
