The confirmed Man Utd squad members ahead of the FA Cup clash against Watford on Saturday night FA Cup
Manchester United have included Jesse Lingard in their provisional squad for the FA Cup game against Watford at Old Trafford.
United kick off their FA Cup campaign against the Championship side after suffering a semi-final defeat to Chelsea in the competition last season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed changes will be made given United's recent fixture schedule, confirming Donny van de Beek would start against the Hornets.
He said: "Donny is going to play tomorrow, it’s another chance for him. And, yes, I’ve spoken to him and made him aware of how much we rate him but he will play tomorrow and it’s a good chance again for him to kick on."
Lingard, 28, could make his first United appearance since featuring in the Carabao Cup win against Brighton at the end of September.
Edinson Cavani is still unavailable as he serves the final game of his three match ban. Facundo Pellistri was in line to make his first-team debut but misses out after testing positive for coronavirus.
Victor Lindelof and Brandon Williams were not spotted arriving at the team hotel before tonight's game but Solskjaer has already confirmed the latter will be in the squad.
"With the signing of Alex and the form of Luke, he’s not really had a look-in at left-back this season," he said on Williams. "Last season, I think he played in all three semis, in the Europa League, FA Cup and the Carabao Cup, and he had a great rise or a great first season.
"This season has been more difficult for him. I think he’s put his head down and worked really hard lately.
He will be involved tomorrow, he’s in the squad. He has shown me that he has the desire to fight through this."
Confirmed Manchester United squad:
De Gea, Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Tuanzebe, Bailly, Maguire, Telles; Fred, McTominay, Matic, Van de Beek, Mata, Lingard; Martial, Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford, Ighalo.
