Reportedly, Chelsea is one of the clubs in the Premier League interested in signing Ali Akman.
The Bursaspor striker has attracted the attention of many elite European clubs with his performances this season, according to the Daily Mail.
The report states that in December, Red Bull Salzburg and Galatasaray attempted to sign the player. The Blues and Arsenal have entered the race as well and are allegedly looking at the situation.
Akman has six months left on his contract and an extension is currently not being signed. Instead of risking losing the 18-year-old for free in the summer, Bursaspor are interested in hearing deals now.
The Turkish side priced the striker at about £ 3 million, but the effects of the pandemic on football clubs could cause them to accept less.
There is also competition from clubs in Germany and Italy, alongside Chelsea and Arsenal.
In 17 games this season, Akman has netted nine times and registered four assists.
