Manchester United have always been a dream club to many world class players in the recent past and in the current state.
The legacy and glorious times for the English top club gave top players the eagerness to get over to Old Trafford and be part of the history of the club.
Though many players don't manage to get their dream move to the club at an early stage of their career, other get the chance to play for them later on in their peak of their careers.
One such case is of Nigerian international Odion Ighalo who used to play for Watford before he moved to China where he played for Shanghai.
In the January winter transfer window, Odion Ighalo got his much anticipated and dream move to Old Trafford as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was in dire need of a natural striker.
This move was a dream come true for Odion Ighalo who went ahead to shine for the Red Devils.
His short loan stint was extended till the end of January 2021.
However, after acquiring the signature of Edinson Cavani, Ighalo has seen a much reduced game time at the club which has put his future at the club in doubt as he expected to make his move permanent.
According to Manchester Evening News reports today, the club have ended Odion Ighalo's hope of having a long term future at the club as they will not give him a new contract extension.
This means that he will get back to China where he will ply his career until he calls it quit.
