Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be without five of his players when Manchester United take on Arsenal in the Premier League next Sunday.
Manchester United are flying high at the moment. They have looked like a team transformed since their 6-1 loss at home at the hands of Jose Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur side.
It looks like that was the wake up call that Solskjaer’s men needed.
Since they they have beaten Newcastle United 4-1 away from home, caused a massive upset against PSG in their own backyard, drawn 0-0 with Chelsea and absolutely destroyed RB Leipzig 5-0 last night.
If you would have told the fans those were going to be the results of those games a couple of weeks ago, they probably wouldn’t have believed you.
That’s where we stand right now. But the Red Devils will know that they do not have much time to celebrate their recent successes. The games continue to come in thick and fast and next Sunday they will face Arsenal.
Arsenal right now are in a similar position United were in a couple of weeks ago. After a promising start, they are coming off the back of two back-to-back defeats at the hands of Manchester City and Leicester City.
And it is safe to say that another loss could see questions being asked about Mikel Arteta, who has largely been hailed as a brilliant manager by their fans till now.
Unfortunately for United, Solskjaer will have five of his players missing when they take on the Gunners.
